Good Morning!

We have been talking about getting rid of "clutter" in certain areas of our life.  When things are complicated, it causes us to become frustrated.  When we are frustrated, we lose our
peace and joy . . . . so keeping things "simple" will stop a lot of negative situations, and then we can enjoy our lives the way Jesus intended for us to.

Last week, we talked about the importance of keeping our mind and thought life free from clutter, now we are going to look at another area where we really need to "simplify".  And that is in our prayer life. So many people struggle in this area, and they come away from their prayer time "wondering" whether or not The Lord heard them, and not fully assured that He will answer.

First of all, 1John 5:14-15 Makes it very plain and simple . . . . . . . . . . "and this is the confidence--the assurance, the privilege of boldness--which we have in Him: we are sure, that if we ask anything (make any request) according to His will (in agreement with His own plan), He listens to us and hears us."

"and if we (positively) know that He listens to us in when we ask, we also know (with settled and absolute assurance) that we have granted to us the requests made."

These scriptures are taken from The Amplified Bible, and tell us exactly how to pray . . . . . . . it really is simple . . . . just pray for His will to be done in every situation that you are praying about, and also, that His purpose and plan will be accomplished. God tells us in His Word what His will is, so you do need to know what His Word says about your situation. That is your part, find out what His Word says, and then pray   "according to His will".

I encourage you to stay tuned in . . . . . . there is so much more that is involved, (but not, complicated), on the subject of "prayer".
