Good
Morning!
Today, we are going to talk about step # 2 in the process of keeping our minds
from being "cluttered".........don't try to "reason" in your
own natural mind, and don't try to "analyze"
and "figure everything out". That is exactly what I did all of
my life until The Lord showed me that it was not what He told us to do.
The following scriptures will help you understand more about
this>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Proverbs
3:5
tells us to "lean not unto our own understanding".
2
Corinthians 10:5
tells us to "cast down reasonings, arguments,
theories, and imaginations....and bring
every thought captive
that does not line up with The Word of
God".
Proverbs
16:3 tells
us to "commit, or give, all of our concerns
to God, and He will cause our
"thoughts" to be in agreement
with His will".
1
Peter 5:7 tells
us to "cast all of our cares upon The Lord"
Romans
12:2 tells
us to "renew our minds" (we can only do this
by reading and hearing God's Word)
Isaiah
26:3 tells
us that "He will give us perfect peace if we will
keep Him on our mind".
Philippians
4:8 tells
us....bottom line .....exactly what we are to
think about, (especially when our minds
begin to be "cluttered")
I have paraphrased all of these scriptures, so I encourage you to write them
down, go to The Word for yourself, and read them in your study time.
There are many more scriptures about this subject, and I believe The Holy
Spirit will show them to you.
