Morning!
It
is time, once again, to acknowledge all of the new "readers" that
have signed up to receive these daily encouragements....Welcome aboard!
Thank you for your "interest", and may you be blessed, encouraged
and strengthened in your daily walk with The Lord. I think of all
of you, that read these, as "family" (and according to the Word of
God, you are)! You are precious to God, and you are precious to me! Of
course, I am including all of you that have been with me from "day
one"!
I
feel a "divine" responsiblity to each and every one of you, because
The Lord has given me this "awesome" assignment to SOW THE WORD
(Mark 4:14). I feel very honored and priviledged to have this
opportunity, but at the same time, I must be totally dependent upon the Holy
Spirit to help me make sure that I am "speaking the truth
in love" so that we can "grow up" (Ephesians 4:15).
Praise God, I am so thankful that He is not allowing me to just type words
that "tickle your ears", but that He is giving me words that will
"prick your hearts" and give you the desire to "grow and
glow"! Then, and only then, will you be able to forget about
yourself and reach out to others! What The Lord is desiring from
all of us right now...is "maturity and intimacy"!
When we spend time in His Word....we "grow", and when we spend time
in His Presence...we "glow"! That is how we become a
"light in a dark world"!
I
know that this has gone in a different direction from what I had planned
to talk about, but you know what? I just work here....I show up for
work, and then I type what He tells me to type! God willing,
tomorrow I will finish up on #1. of God's Principles for Staying Power, which
is "STAY COMMITTED" ! Thank you for your patience
with me.....God will bless you!
