Good Morning!

Okay!  Let's get started on the list of   GOD'S PRINCIPLES for "STAYING POWER"!

    #1.   STAY  "Committed"!

I encourage you to read Webster's definition of the words "commit, committed and commitment".  It will give you a clearer understanding about what I am going to be sharing with you.  To "commit" something means to "entrust " that something to someone.....a "commitment" to DO something means that you are giving a pledge or a promise to someone. With that in mind, let me give you some Godly wisdom and advice that I have learned from my own personal experience......Do not make any "hasty" commitments!  When people ask me to do things that they want me to do, I tell them..."let me pray about it first".  That may seem a little "radical" to you, but you need to remember, that Christians are supposed to "keep their word".  Even though what they are asking me to do may be a "good thing", it might not be a "God-thing" for me at that time.  Why not just pray about it first, instead of finding out later that you are not able to do it and then being put in a place of not "keeping your word"!  Well, I don't know how I got in to all of that, but I guess it was for someone!

Back to "Staying committed".....when God "commits" an assignment (vision) to you, that means that He has "entrusted" it to you...okay?  So, when you say "Yes, Lord" to that assignment, that means that you have "committed" (promised) to do it....right?  Well then.....STAY COMMITTED!   Even when you don't feel like it.... just STAY COMMITTED!  Even when it doesn't look like anything is happening....just STAY COMMITTED!  Even when it seems like nobody cares about what you are doing...just STAY COMMITTED!   Jesus was totally "committed" to the assignment that had been given (entrusted) to Him and it is very obvious that He was "successful"!  Remember, all of these "principles" that I am going to be sharing is to help us be "successful" in the things of God!

No "encouragement" on Wednesday, but I will be back on Thursday and I will be giving you some scriptures on "commit, committed and commitment", so stay tuned in! ~~~~~~

Have a Blessed Day!!            (STAY COMMITTED!)            In His Love, Luanne
