Good Morning!
I
believe that what I am going to share with all of you today fits right
into what I have been talking about earlier.....i.e. "staying
committed"! Please keep in mind the "definitions" that I
gave you about the words; commit, committed, & commitment. You
may want to refer back to my "encouragement" for Aug. 22~~~~
On Aug. 25th, seventy
years ago, I arrived on planet earth not knowing that God had
"entrusted" an assignment to me (to commit something means to
"entrust" it to someone). It was nine years later before I entrusted
my "eternal" life to Him by accepting Jesus as my Savior.
However, I knew nothing about making a "commitment" to the
assignment (or call) on my life. I stayed "committed" to
believing in Jesus, I never, ever, doubted that He was the Son of God and that
He died for me! But, it was many years later before I made a
"commitment" to commit my "earthly" life to Him on a day
to day basis! That is what changed my perspective from "the sweet
by and by" to the "right here and now'! When I got a
revelation of what my "assignment" (His call on my life) was
for right now, I understood that it was not just for me but for others!
When I said "Yes, Lord" to that call, I made a
"commitment", and I have stayed "committed"! Many
lives have been touched and changed because I chose to....STAY COMMITTED!
It is the same for
you....God has an "assignment" for you! If you don't know what
it is, then I encourage you to just "ask" The Lord to show you.
If you sincerely want to know....He WILL show you! When He
does....just say "Yes, Lord". Now, once you have made that
"commitment"......STAY COMMITTED! You have no idea how
many "lives" depend on your obedience to.....STAY COMMITTED!
