Good
Morning!
I
have been taking Psalms 23:1 and reading it by changing the
"emphasis" on a different word each time I re-read it. (This is
the way The Holy Spirit has taught me about reading all of God's Word).
It has really increased my "faith", and enriched
my "walk with the Lord". That is why I love to
share this "simple" method with others!
Yesterday,
I talked about the word "Shepherd" from that verse...I only
scratched the surface. There is so much more I could share about
the "Good Shepherd", but I believe that the Holy Spirit will
"reveal" things to you as you read the Word for yourself!
Today,
I am going to talk about the last part of that "verse".
Let me quote again what the entire verse says...."The Lord is my
Shepherd, I shall not want". I want to talk about "I shall not
want". The definition of the word want, in
this verse, means to "be in need" or to experience
"lack". So then, you could read that verse this
way...."The Lord is my Shepherd, there will be no "lack" in my
pasture because the Lord will take care of all of my needs"!
Let
me back this up with other scriptures....."Those that seek the
Lord shall not lack any beneficial thing" (Psalms 34:10
Amplified Bible). "God shall supply ALL of your needs,
according to His riches in Glory by Christ Jesus"
(Philippians 4:19). Get hold of this.....God takes care of your needs
according to HIS "resources", not according to YOUR
"resources"! Now that is "good news"! Somebody
ought to be shouting Halleluiah! Can I get an AMEN?
I
only used one verse from Psalms 23 to encourage you to use this
"method" when you are reading any and all of God's Word.
You can do the same thing with the rest of this chapter. I hope you were
able to take time to read the 10th chapter of the gospel of John...there
is so much to "glean" from this. Keep in mind that the
"door" is JESUS!
Tomorrow,
I am going to share my "personal" testimony about "I shall not
want". I believe that it will bless and encourage "someone"!
Have
a Blessed Day!! (Keep "chewing" on God's
Word!) In His Love, Luanne
