Morning!
To
finish up this message about Psalms 23:1, I want to share with you
how this "revelation" has affected me personally. I don't talk
about my "personal" past very much, even though a lot of people ask
me to share my "testimony". I have shared bits and pieces, but
it would take me from now until Jesus comes back to share all of
it and I am not sure everyone would be "interested" or even
"believe" it!
Sometimes it is even hard for me to believe what Jesus has brought me
through!
Anyway,
I believe that what I am going to share with you today, will encourage some of
you and maybe even make a difference in your life.~~~~~
I
accepted Jesus as my "savior" when I was very young, but I did not
have any revelation of Psalms 23:1....when they would read that verse in
Church, I would just always think about what my Mother had told me when I
would say that I "wanted" this or that. She would say to
me..."Luanne, the Bible says, THOU SHALL NOT WANT! So, I grew
up thinking that it was a sin for me to "want" (or desire) to have
something. I spent most of my life feeling "guilty" about
buying something that I wanted for myself, even if it was
something that I "needed"! All because, I did not know that the
Bible was actually saying...THOU SHALL NOT "LACK"! In fact, I
grew up thinking that "lack" was going to always be in my life (that
is called the "lack mentality"). I am talking to someone
today! If you have that "spirit" operating in your life,
it is very hard to believe that Jesus is your "personal" Shepherd
and that He wants to give you PROVISION, PROTECTION and DIRECTION!
