Good
Morning!
I want to continue to "expound"
on Matthew 11: 28-30. Have you been doing your "homework" and
reading those verses?
In these verses, Jesus is giving us
instructions on how to have "peace" and how to enter in to His
"rest". I cannot think of anyone that would not want to be
able to do that!
Today, I want to share with you what The
Lord showed me about the word "yoke". Most of you can picture in
your mind what an "ox-yoke" is. It is used to join a team of oxen
together, and as long as they walk together in the same direction, and go
where they are being led to go, they never even "feel" the yoke.
However, if one of them tries to go in a "different" direction from
the one they are "yoked" up to...they will feel pressure and pain!
Are you getting the "picture"?
This is why The Lord told us in
2Corinthians 6:14.."Be not unequally yoked together with
unbelievers". Relationships are "yokes"...so, make sure
that whoever you are "yoked" up with is being led in the same
direction that you are!
The main point here, is this~~~~if
you will do what Jesus said to do in verse 29, and "yoke" up with
Him, and do not try to go in any other direction than where He is leading
you to go....then you will not even "feel" the pressure
and pain that the devil tries to put on you!
There is so much more that I could share
with you about this, but I think that this is enough on your plate for
now!
Have
a Blessed Day!! (stay "yoked" up
with Jesus!) In His Love, Luanne
