Good Morning!

Today, I want to just give a "simple" summary of what Jesus was saying, and what He is still saying to us in Matthew 11: 28 - 30.  This summary includes many other scriptures that will help you to see the "whole" picture! ~~~~~~

When you become physically or spiritually weary and tired, and when you feel burdened down with the "cares of this world"....remember that Jesus said that He would never leave you or forsake you.  Then "cast all of your cares upon Him"!  He will be your "resting place", but in order to "enter in" to the rest that He has for you, you must not have any "doubt, fear or unbelief" in your heart. Then make sure that the only "yoke" that you have on you is the one that keeps you "hooked up to Jesus"!  That is the "yoke" that will keep you on the "path" that He has for you, and that is what Proverbs says is the "path of Life" (I encourage you to read Proverbs on a daily basis...it has a lot to say about the right path and the wrong path).  It is on the "path of Life" that you will learn from your experiences. If you are not yoked up with Jesus, then you will travel on the wrong path, and will not be able to learn anything from your "experiences".  You will just keep going around and around the same "old mountain"!  Jesus said, in verse 29, "take My yoke upon you and LEARN  from me".

This may seem "complicated" to some of you, but if you will allow the Holy Spirit to give you a revelation, you will see that it is as simple as "one, two, three"!

    1.   Give your "cares and burdens" to Jesus, and enter in to His "rest"!
    2.   Stay "teachable" and learn from past and present experiences!
    3.   Don't try to go in a different direction from where He is leading you!

I encourage you to go back and read what The Lord has said this week concerning this scripture. I believe that you will "see" the simplicity of this profound "truth"!

Have a Blessed Weekend!!   (Stay "yoked" up with Jesus!)     In His Love, Luanne
