Morning!
The
bottom line for "success" in any area of our lives....is very simple!
Just obey the commandment that the Lord has given to us under the
"new covenant". He said that all of the other laws and
commandments would be fulfilled by keeping this one...LOVE! (read 1John
3: 23-24)
In
order for us to keep this "Love commandment", we have to know and
really understand what "love" is and what it is not.
First of all, the kind of love that The Lord has commanded us to walk in, is not
just giving somebody a hug and a kiss and saying "I love you"!
Oh no, it is much deeper than that...it is about the kind of love that
Jesus had, and still has, for us! 1Corinthians 13: 4 thru 8 is
the "check list" for us to find out whether or not we are walking in
this kind of love~~~~~
Tomorrow, I am going to tell you
what these scriptures say in the Amplified Bible. I want to do this for
those of you that do not have an Amplified Bible, and then I am going to go verse
by verse, so that we can see the STOP signs, red lights and
warning signals that are there to protect us from "failure"...LOVE
never fails!
The Lord makes "successful"
living so SIMPLE!
