T.O.D.A.Y.’S
ENCOURAGEMENT for Apr. 18th, 2002
T.O.D.A.Y.
Ministries
Good Morning!
I would be remiss if I did not express my appreciation to those of you that
have written back and told me how T.O.D.A.Y.'S ENCOURAGEMENTS have touched your
lives. I do not expect anyone to do
this, but I feel that it is necessary for me to say: "Thank You!" My
prayer is that everyone is being encouraged to be all that God says you can be
...and to have all that He says you can have!
We have been talking about seeking first (aiming for, making our goal, to focus
on) The Kingdom of God...Matthew 6:33...which is, righteousness, peace and
joy in the Holy Ghost...Romans 14:17. Jesus listed them in that order for
a reason. Everything that The Lord says
and does is for a reason and a purpose.
You have to KNOW (have a revelation of) Righteousness before you can
have Peace and Joy. We have already talked about Righteousness
(who you are in Christ) and about Peace (what you can have) and now we are
going to talk about Joy.
Joy is not the same thing as "Happiness". Happiness depends
upon circumstances, situations, and relationships. If these things are
"good" then we are happy.... If these things are not good, then we
are not happy. So then
"happiness" is coming from our emotions. Joy is a
"spiritual" power that keeps us " stable" no matter what is
going on in our circumstances, situations, or relationships. This is
because Joy is actually our authority over the enemy. That is why he
continually tries to steal our Joy.
Tomorrow I will share with you what The Lord has shown me about
"joy" and also about seeking "His Righteousness"
which is the last key of Matthew 6:33...that opens the door to
"all these things shall be added unto you".
Have a Blessed
Day!
In His Love, Luanne
We welcome your comments and prayer requests.
