Good Morning!

We have been discussing The Kingdom of God as being righteousness, peace and joy (according to Romans 14:17), and then looking at how this relates to Matthew 6:33.

If you are a born again child of God, if Jesus Christ is The Lord of your life, then The Kingdom of God is within you (Luke 17:21).  So then righteousness, peace and joy are on the inside of you.  So you need to "focus" on this.  You need to  "see" yourself as the righteousness of God.  If you don't believe you are righteous, then you will never have the faith and confidence you need to receive anything from God (Hebrews 11:6 and 1 John 5:14).

Now, we are going to "focus" on Peace.  This was the gift that Jesus gave us before He left to go be with The Father (John 14:27).  He said that this was His peace that He was leaving with us, and this peace is more than just a state of tranquility.  It is from the word Shalom", meaning Wholeness, nothing missing.... nothing broken (Isaiah 26:3).  This peace is...freedom from: anxiety, fear, stress, oppression, depression, and "the cares of this world".  I don't know about you, but that sounds like "Good News" to me!!  And this is available to us twenty-four/seven!  Right about now, somebody ought to be shouting, PRAISE THE LORD!!!

Tomorrow we will look at the third "key" in the Kingdom of God.  If you have done your homework, you know what that is.  But get ready for some revelation on it!!
