Today, I want to prepare all of you
for what to expect in my next
assignment of messages. I have been
hesitant because I want to be
absolutely assured that what I am
hearing in my spirit is coming from
the Holy Spirit. So, I have been
asking The Lord to give me that
assurance. Every time I have asked
Him (if you want to know why I would
ask Him more than once, you will
know why as I continue), I have
received the same reply.......He
tells me to read Hebrew 3:13.
Most of you know that this ministry
was founded on that scripture. So,
when I would tell Father that I know
I am supposed to "encourage one
another while it is still called
Today", and I don't think that what
I am hearing in my spirit to talk
about will seem very encouraging to
some people. I would only get the
same reply....read Hebrews 3:13.
Finally, I realized that He wanted
me to go to that scripture and read
it out loud in it's entirety. When
I did that, I understood that it is
talking about more than
just "encouraging" people! Let's
look at what it says~~~
"Exhort one another daily
while it is still called Today". The
word "exhort" means to warn,
urge and admonish. The Amplified
Bible also includes the word
"encourage". I have always just
focused on the "encourage" part
because that is the way that I am
motivated. I have been more
comfortable with those kind of
messages. Well, the Lord is moving
me out of my "comfort zone"! He is
telling
me to "speak the truth, in
love, so that we can grow up" in
such a time as this!
I said all this, to let you
know that my upcoming messages may
not "tickle your ears", but if you
will "receive" them and follow the
instructions that come from the Word
of God, they will "open your
spiritual ears" so that you can
"hear what the Spirit is saying to
the church TODAY"!
Not only is it time for us
to stop and "think about what we are
thinking about", but it is also time
for us to "listen to what is coming
out of our MOUTH"! Are we saying
what God's Word says about us and
our situations? Think about
it!
