Good Morning!

"MANY ARE THE AFFLICTIONS OF THE RIGHTEOUS . . . BUT, THE LORD DELIVERS US OUT OF THEM ALL"!  (Psalms 34:19)

It is so good to be back with all of you guys and gals!  Thank you all for your prayers!  I also want to thank Judith and Karen for "stepping up to the plate, and pinch-hitting" for me . . . don't you think that they did a great job?  I am going to share some more about the kind of "team work" that we have going on here in T.O.D.A.Y. Ministries, and will probably do that next week.  But today, I want to expound on the above scripture.

I have experienced many "afflictions" over the last six months, and this scripture has been such a comfort for me as I spoke it out of my mouth every day!  No, I did not find "comfort" in the fact that God's Word said that I was going to have "afflictions" . . . my comfort and encouragement came from His COVENANT promise to deliver me!!  I know that most of you have been experiencing a bunch of afflictions yourself!  If you have received Jesus as your Lord and Savior, then you are one of the "righteous" (not because of your good works, but because of the blood of Jesus), so this scripture also applies to you. That is why I want to expound on it. So, let's look at what it "says" and what it does not say ~~~~~~ It does not say that just because we are "righteous", we will not have any afflictions.  It does not say that we will only have a "few" afflictions...it says that we will have MANY afflictions!  Well, how many of those "afflictions" does God promise to deliver us out of?    The answer is ~~~~~ ALL of them!!!!     How many?  I will let you answer that!

I am going to take this back up again on Friday....The Lord is wanting us to learn how to take His COVENANT promises and "speak" them over our situations!  In other words, instead of focusing on the "afflictions" . . . focus on the "deliverance"!  It is called "rightly dividing" the Word of Truth!

Have a Blessed Day!!                  (ALL means  ALL!)                    In His Love, Luanne
