Good Morning!

God is "mindful" of His covenant with us!  (Psalms 111:5)
He tells us to be "mindful" of His covenant with us!  (1Chronicles 16:15)

To be "mind-ful" of something simply means to . . . **"keep it in mind,  be aware of it,  give heed to it",  and to remember it"!  When God uses the word (remember), it is a "covenant" Word . . . keep that in mind!  For example . . . The Bible tells us that God "remembered" Noah, and He "remembered" Abraham, and the list goes on about certain people that God "remembered" ( I encourage you to use a concordance and look this up).  Why does it say that God "remembered" them?  Because, He had given them a "covenant" PROMISE!  Well, precious ones,  not only do we have the "covenant promises" that He gave to people in the Old Testament available to us, (because we are "heirs" of Abraham and to the promises that God made to him), but we also have all of the "covenant promises" found in the New Testament!  Why?  Because those "promises" have been given to us because of the "covenant" that was established for us through the blood of Jesus!  We are "joint-heirs" with Christ (read Galatians 3:29 . . . and even the scriptures preceding that verse)!  Then you can read Romans 8:17 . . . then you can read the entire book of Hebrews!     Hold on a sec!   I don't want you to feel "overwhelmed"!   I am just giving you something to do that will help you become "covenant-minded" . . . you don't have to read them all in one sitting!

We become "mindful" of God's covenant by reading the Word of God (the Bible) and finding out what His "covenant promises" are!  If we don't know what they are, then how are we going to . . .  **"keep them in mind,  be aware of them,  give heed to them, and remember them"?

Tomorrow, I will talk about how to STAY "covenant-minded".  You may be surprised!  It isn't going to take me very long to tell you how to do that!

Have a Blessed Day!!        (Do your "homework"!)          In His Love, Luanne
