Morning!
Well,
OK, then . . . I believe that each one of you has made a quality decision that
you are going to "stick like glue" to The Lord and to His covenant
promises! If you have sincerely made that decision, then The Holy Spirit
will help you to be "diligent" to do the other 6 principles for
"Staying Power"! That is what I want to talk about today.
The "definition"
of diligence . . . according to Webster: constant, careful
effort; perseverance; attention or care expected of a person in a
given situation.
The
"rewards" of diligence . . . according to The Scriptures
(Amplified Bible):
Proverbs
4:23 . . . Proverbs 10:4 . . . Proverbs 11:27 . . . Proverbs 12:24 & 27 .
. . Proverbs 13:4 . . . Proverbs 21:5 . . . Proverbs 22:29 . . .

I know, I have only given
you the "scriptures" and haven't told you what they said. That
is because The Lord wants you to "go there" for yourself,
because that is how He will show you the "rewards" that He
has for YOU, personally!
Just
"think" about this ~~~~ if someone, that you trusted, told you that a
large amount of silver and gold had been buried in your back yard
and all you had to do was dig it up and it would be yours . . . you would dig,
and keep digging, until you found it! Right? Don't tell me that
you would say . . . "Well, I will just wait and let someone else dig it
up". Well then, if you "trust" God . . . you will
put forth that same effort to "dig" in to His "Word", and
what you will find will be worth MORE than "silver or gold"!
Well, Monday is a
holiday, and I know that most of you will be taking advantage of that . .
