Good Morning!

The Lord let us know that our "thoughts" are very important to Him, and to our own personal peace.  He told us that He would keep us in perfect peace, if we would keep our thoughts on Him (Isaiah 26:3). One way to do that, is to be "mind-full of His Word"!  When our minds start getting "cluttered", we can STOP and start thinking  about Him and what His Word says.  That is why it is so important to spend time in His Word and find out what it says....how can you "think" about something that you have never been made aware of?

I have just referred to one scripture concerning our "thoughts"....there are many others, and we will refer to them as we go along~~~~

I want to point out something that can really cause "clutter" in your minds.  Wow!, talk about causing frustration....this is a "trap" that can totally rob you of PEACE!  I know what I am talking about!!  Been there, done that...and this is what it is:

"Rehearsing" future conversations in your mind about what you plan to "say" to someone.  The conversation in your mind goes something like this...."I am going to say "this", and they are probably going to say "that" and when they say "that", I am going to say "this"!  Sound familiar?  Let's look at the other part of that "trap"~~~

"Re-hashing" past conversations in your mind that have already taken place, and yet you find yourself going back over them and then the conversation in your mind goes like this....."When they said "that", I should have said "this", and why didn't I say "this" when they said "that"?   Hello!  What a waste of time!

I have so much more to share about this, but will take it back up tomorrow~~~

Have a Blessed Day!!           (Keep it Simple!)             In His Love, Luanne
