Morning!
I
am going to continue talking about how to keep the "clutter" out of
our minds. I will probably be in this "drawer" for
awhile....and then we will move on to the other "drawers"....our
"will" and "emotions" (you may want to refer back to last
week's encouragements).
Remember,
the main reason that The Lord wants us to get the "clutter" out of
our life, is so that we can simplify our life! Jesus wants us to
"enjoy" the life that He died to give us (He talks about this over
and over in His Word). He wants us to be "joy-full and
peace-full", not "stress-full" or "fear-full"!
Complication
always causes frustration....frustration always causes stress...stress robs us
of our joy and peace....when we lose our peace, we open the door for fear to
come in....fear keeps us from operating in "faith".....and without
faith, we are not able to receive anything from God (Hebrews 11:6).
Are we getting the "picture" of this detrimental
"merry-go-round"?
Some
of you may think that my "simple is good message" is just nice to
hear, but believe me....it is much more than that! If you will continue
to read what The Lord has to say about it, and what His instructions are
concerning it, you can have the "peace which passes all
understanding" that He wants us to have!
Well,
once again, this has gone in a little bit different direction than I had
planned. However, I feel sure that it went in the direction that The
Lord wanted it to go!
Tomorrow,
I will get back to getting rid of the "clutter" in our
minds.....maybe.
I
just type what The Lord tells me to type!
