T.O.D.A.Y.'S ENCOURAGEMENT for Sept. 30, 2003
T.O.D.A.Y.
Ministries Good Morning! In one of my earlier "encouragements", we established the fact that we need to eliminate "clutter" from different areas of our lives. Simply because that one thing can be a source of confusion, frustration and stress. I gave you a list of some of the areas where this can happen, and the most obvious one is in our "natural" every-day environment......i.e. houses, garages, closets, etc. So, where should I start first? The garage, or closet, or..........just "kidding"! Actually, I don't plan to spend a lot of time in this "area" ( I can hear all the "sighs" of relief! ) However, I do want to say this....if you are having to walk the "straight and narrow path" just to get from one room in your house to another, or to make it through the garage, then it is time to "eliminate". If you have "stuff" that you no longer use or need, or clothes that you have not worn from one season to the other; let me make a "suggestion".....No, my suggestion is not, "have a garage sale". I personally think that a garage sale is more "stressful" than the clutter itself! Consider this idea.........instead of "selling" something, "sow" it. Start finding things to "give away", and think of it as "seeds" being sown! This way, not only will you be blessing someone else, but you will have a "harvest" coming back to you so that you can continue to "sow". The Bible tells us that this is the way The Kingdom of God works. It is all about "sowing" and "reaping"! Remember, your "stuff" is more beneficial to you as a "seed", than it is as a "sale"! God loves a "cheerful, joyous, prompt-to-do-it "giver" (2Corinthians 9:7 Amp. Bible) Have
