T.O.D.A.Y.'S ENCOURAGEMENT for Sept.24th, 2002 T.O.D.A.Y.
Ministries In the 11th chapter of Mark, Jesus tells us to "have faith in God". To have faith in God means to have faith is His Word. He goes on to tell us that we are to "speak" to the mountains in our lives and if we have faith in Him and His Word, then whatever we say will come to pass. (I encourage you to read Mark 11:22-26). So, obviously, our words are very important. We need to do and say what He tells us to do and say, but we also need to remember that without Him, we can do NOTHING! In other words, when the "mountains" (hindrances) move out of our way, we don't take the credit........that belongs to Jesus!! With that in mind, let me share one of my songs with you>>> Mountains will not move just because I tell them to, but because HE said they would. Things won't come to pass just because of my great faith, but because of who my faith is in! Things that I can see, are subject to change, so why should I be looking at them? The only thing that I should ever have to do, is just to put my trust completely in Him! So, it will never be because of what I do, but because of what HE "did" and it will never be because of what I say, but because of what HE has already "said"! It's because of Jesus, just because of Jesus Not because of anything I do or do not do.
