T.O.D.A.Y.'S ENCOURAGEMENT for Sept.17th, 2002 T.O.D.A.Y.
Ministries Yesterday we started looking into Matthew 6:33, and will continue to do so for the rest of this week. There is so much to glean from this one very short verse.........."Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you." We talked about the word "seek" as meaning to aim for and to make it your primary focus point. Now, we will talk about what it is that we are supposed to be focusing on. First, let's look at "the Kingdom of God". In Luke 17:21, Jesus tells us that the Kingdom of God is within us. Romans 14:17 says that the Kingdom of God is, Righteousness, Peace and Joy in the Holy Ghost. So, then, every Christian has this on the inside of them, but many Christians do not understand how these three "keys" can open the door to the kind of life that Jesus wants us to have. So, tomorrow I am going to take these three "keys" one by one and expound on them. Please know this, I understand that some of you already have a revelation on this, but I also know that there are some people out there who needs to know more about what is available to them in order to enjoy their lives the way Jesus intended for them to (I was one of those people for many, many years) even though I had read Matthew 6:33 numerous times.
