Good
Morning!
When things don't happen as fast as we would like for them to, then it is hard
not to become discouraged. Especially
where our prayers are concerned. Many
times, the waiting period between, when we say "Amen", and when we say
"I have it!", can seem like an eternity.
It took me a long time to learn how to "wait" on God. The reason
for that, is because all of us still have the old nature in our flesh and the
flesh does not want to "wait" on anything or anybody! It wants, what it wants, when it wants it! So, if we
don't get what we want, when we want it, we become discouraged.
Discouragement robs us of our confidence in
God and His word, and before we know it, we are trying to "make something
happen". This is where a lot
of people get in trouble.
When I made the "decision" that I was going to wait on God and to let
Him do things His way, that is when He began to show me what to do during the
"waiting period". He will
do the same thing for you.
One of the best things that you can do while you are waiting, is to keep
"thanking Him" for what you are praying for before you actually see
it. This will keep your confidence
strong in Him! Please read Hebrews
10:35 & 36, and we will talk about that scripture and some others tomorrow.
Have a Blessed Day!!
In His Love, Luanne
We
welcome your comments and prayer requests.
