What will you be wearing today?

 

In my last Encouragement, I began talking about the "Armor of God".  I know now, why the Lord was having me talk about it at this precise time. We all know what October 31 is all about. I have hesitated to talk about this particular day, simply because I have not wanted to "magnify" this ungodly participation in a "Pagan" ritual!  However, today I am going to use it to compare the "costumes", that some will be putting on, instead of the "Holy garments" that Almighty God has given us to wear!  In fact, if you decided to read the "scriptures" that I gave you about the "Armor of God", you can see that it was designed for us to put on and wear in order to be able to stand against all of the "spirits of darkness"!  Everything about this "so-called" annual event is totally contrary to the Word of God!  I know that most of you Christians already know this, but I hope you will see the importance of this message about our "spiritual wardrobe"!  We need to be aware of the devil's devices!  Our "garments" are all about LIFE and LIGHT . . . their "costumes" are all about DEATH and DARKNESS!  So, even if you are like me and do not participate in this pagan event, you need to be aware of the fact that you have to be "dressed" for the occasion!  Put on the whole Armor of God!  I encourage you, once again, to read Ephesians 6: 11 - 18 today!   I want to share a song with you, and even if you do not know the tune . . . speak the "words" out of your mouth!

    SO, HEAR US, OH SPIRITS OF "DARKNESS" . . . SO YOU WILL KNOW WHERE WE "STAND'!

    WE ARE CHILDREN OF "LIGHT", PURCHASED OF GOD, WASHED IN THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB,

    THE "BLOOD OF THE LAMB"!

 

Father, I plead the "blood of Jesus" over every person that is reading this, and that Your precious "blood" has been applied to the doorpost of their household!  I thank you, Lord, that they have been given Your "Armor" that enables them to stand against all of the rulers of darkness and all of the spiritual "wickedness" in high places!  Thank You for Your COVENANT "protection" that keeps us from all "evil"!     We Praise You!  We "magnify" You, and You alone!
