When
God created us, He gave us a "free will" to make our own choices.
However, because He loves us so much and wants us to make the right
choices . . . He has given us some "options" to choose from.
He will not make us "choose" them, but He does let us know which
ones will be for our own good! That is because He wants us to walk in
the covenant promise that He made to us in Jeremiah 29:11 ~~~~~ In that
scripture He tells us that He has a "plan and a purpose" for our
lives and it is for GOOD! So making the right choices each
day, will help us stay in that "plan" that The Lord has for us that
is "good"!
In
Deuteronomy 30:19 . . . God tells us that He sets before us, each day, the
option of choosing LIFE or DEATH . . . BLESSINGS or CURSES. Considering
that this is a "multiple choice" quiz . . . He even gives us the
right "box" to check! He suggests . . . Choose LIFE! Choose
BLESSINGS! I encourage you to read that scripture. Then in
Joshua 24:15 . . . He told Joshua to tell the people this: "Choose
this day, whom you will serve". Well, then Joshua told them
what he had chosen to do! He said, "As for me and my
house, we will serve The Lord". He was letting the
people know what the right choice was . . . Joshua had a revelation of what
"works"! If you know anything about Joshua's life, then
you know that the "choice" he made was the right choice!
When
we get a revelation of "what works" for our good, then we will
continue to make those same choices. That is what I am going to be
sharing about in my next Encouragement . . . I have found out "what
works" in my life and so I want to share it with others! See you
