T.O.D.A.Y.'S ENCOURAGEMENT for Oct. 01, 2007

In
Friday's Encouragement, I shared with you some things that The Lord
wants us to do each day. Today, I am going to share with you what I,
myself, am doing with this message. I have made it a personal
commitment back to Him. You do not have to say it like I do, but I do
encourage you to make it "personal". It will cause you to have
faith and confidence in The Lord, and will bring so much peace to your soul.
First of all, when I read this and realized that it was something that The
Lord desired for me to do . . . I decided to let Him know that I would
"choose" to do these things in order to be pleasing to Him. I
have added some things because of the different scriptures that have come to
mind as I read it. This is how I am saying it to Him (OUT LOUD)
each morning>>>>

Father, I
choose to move through this day with a quiet heart and with a calm,
undisturbed mind. I have an inward assurance that You are in control and
a peaceful certainty that my life is in your hands. I choose to totally
trust You in Your plan and purpose that you have for me, and I choose to have
a thankful attitude in every situation that comes my way today.
I
choose to put my faith in You, not in other people or in a
"time-table".
I
choose to wait "on" You and to wait "for" You.
Your
Word tells me that "Your way is perfect" * . . . so, I know that in
your perfect way, you will put everything together, see to every detail,
arrange every circumstance and order every step to bring to pass what you have
for me today!

* Psalms 18:30 tells us
that God's "way" is perfect, so why not choose His way instead of
"our" way?
