Good
Morning!
We
are still in Psalms 23:1, and as I have said . . . we will be here for a
while!
In
Friday's encouragement, I said that I would be giving you scriptures that
relate to the three things that The Lord has promised us when we
"acknowledge" Him as our Shepherd . . . PROVISION, PROTECTION and
DIRECTION. However, before I get into that, I want to give you
some scriptures that will assure you that it is NOT God's will for any of His
children to suffer "LACK"!
You
see, The Lord has given us "covenant promises" concerning
"lack", but we still have to be obedient to do what He
tells us to do in HIS Word! These scriptures that I am going to give you
will let you know how to KEEP "lack" out of your pasture!
I said that word pasture for a reason. This will come
about as we go along ~~~~
Proverbs
28:27 tells us that if we give to the poor, we will not "lack".
Look at the positive side of this "principle" . . . if you have
given to the "poor", then you can say, "There shall
not be any lack in my pasture"!
Psalms
34:9 tells us that if we have a "reverential fear" of The Lord
and worship Him with that kind of attitude, we will not "lack"
. . . so, if you have that kind of attitude toward God, then you can say . . .
"There shall not be any lack in my pasture"!
Psalms
34:10 tells us that if we will SEEK after God, we will not lack any
beneficial thing! So, if you are doing what Matthew 6:33 tells you
to do . . . then you can say, "There shall not be any lack in my pasture!
I
will close with this . . . If you will do what is written in James
1: 2 - 4, then you will be "mature" in the ways of God, and you will
be "lacking" in NOTHING! Praise God!!!!
Tomorrow,
I will let you know why I was saying that you could "confess" that
there would be no lack in your pasture, and then I will be getting into the
scriptures that talk about the "covenant" of PROVISION,
PROTECTION and DIRECTION!
I encourage you to read
all of the above "scriptures". Think about it . . . If you are
not satisfied to live with "lack", then you will be willing to do
whatever it takes to get rid of it! So, take time to read God's Word and
"get a revelation" . . . and then you can say, (out loud, and out of
your mouth) . . . " I SHALL NOT LACK"!
Have
a Blessed Day!! (Say this: "I SHALL
NOT LACK"!) In His Love, Luanne
