Morning!
I want to continue to talk
about "The Great I AM" and what His Covenant promises are concerning
that "declaration" of who He is to us personally! He has
"declared" that He is The Good Shepherd . . . (remember the
words "am" and "is" are always present tense)!
So, today, let us
consider what all He has made available to us as our "Shepherd".
I am going to be reading Psalms 23 from the Amplified Bible, but it is
the same covenant promises that you will find in your King James, NIV, the New
King James, or your grandma's family Bible!
Come on, now "The Word of God" is "The Word of
God"! Don't be afraid to read different versions of The Bible, in
fact I encourage you to do that! You just might get a deeper
insight into what God has spoken! I can remember when I thought that the
KING JAMES BIBLE was the only HOLY BIBLE and the only one that anybody
should be reading! You know . . . like thinking that it was the one
that Peter, Paul and James read!  ?
Wow! I guess The Holy Spirit is trying to lead us out of our
"religious ruts" and realize that revelation of the
Truth comes from the "Spirit of Truth", not from the
"letter of the law"!
Well, I guess I will get
into Psalms 23 tomorrow! I started thinking that maybe I had
missed God, and should go back and delete all of the above . . . then The
Lord spoke to me loud and clear . . . "NO! I gave you this message
for a reason, someone needs to hear this". You know what? I
learned a long time ago, to just be obedient to say what God tells me to say
in these encouragements and He has always proven to me that He was "right
on"! That is because He is smarter than me, and knows what
needs to be said at the "present time" . . . after all,
He is The Great "I AM"! I want to encourage
you to be reading Psalms 23 from whatever "version" you
have, and together we can compare notes as we go along! ok?
