T.O.D.A.Y.'S ENCOURAGEMENT for Oct. 11, 2005
T.O.D.A.Y.
Ministries
14745 Merrilltown #1611 Austin TX 78728
Good
Morning!
I want
to take time to welcome some more new "readers" that have recently
requested to receive the daily encouragements! Thank you for your
interest and may God richly bless you and yours. Please feel free to
share these messages with your friends and loved ones. The bottom line
to all of my messages is to help you "simplify" your life so that
you can enjoy the life that Jesus died to give you.
I
use many different scriptural "principles" that will
take you to that place of living a life of peace and joy in order to eliminate
stress, confusion, complication and frustration. I talk about
"knowing who you are in Christ Jesus"...."understanding that
God has a definite purpose and plan for your life"...."keeping your
priorities in line with God's priorities"......"getting rid of the clutter
in your life"...."learning how to walk in Love (God's
kind of Love)"....and also how to take the Word of God, which
is the Will of God for you, and apply it to your personal
life on a daily basis by being a "doer of His Word and not just a hearer
only"!
I
have talked about all of the above principles in previous
"encouragements", but The Lord wants me to begin to really "expound"
on the last one I listed. When we become "doers" of His Word,
and not just "hearers or readers", then all of those other
principles will automatically manifest in our lives! I am excited
about what the Holy Spirit is going to reveal to us concerning this!
I
can hear some of you saying, "alright already, Luanne....when are
you going to get on with it"? Be patient with me! Remember
what I have told you before...The Lord always lays a
"foundation" before He starts "building"! You can
prepare yourself for what I am going to be talking about by reading the entire
book of James. I know, that is a pretty big "homework
assignment" but if you will do it....you will be laying a solid
"foundation" for The Lord to build a house on, that can
withstand any storms of life that come your way!
Remember,
I won't be sending an encouragement tomorrow, so you have plenty of time
to do your "homework"!
