Morning!
You
know what? The people "of this world" have gone off the deep
end! They are completely out of touch with the principles and morals
that God set forth in His Word, and which are the foundation that America was
built upon! However, those of us that are Christians are not
"of this world" even though we are still "in" it. You can
find that in the 17th chapter of the gospel of John. We are "aliens"
while we are here, because our citizenship is in Heaven. We are not
supposed to think like the rest of the world thinks...we are supposed to think
like God thinks!
Don't
allow the "media" or any "unbeliever" to influence your
thoughts...God says, in Proverbs 16:3, that if you will put your
trust completely in Him, He will "cause your thoughts to be in
agreement with His will"! Think about it...the opinions and
way of thinking that is coming from those that are "of this world",
are definitely not in "agreement with His will"!
I
encourage all of you Christians to stay "focused" on the Word of God
and what He tells us to "think about"....you may not think that this
important, but God knew how important it was for such a time as
this....that is why He let us know ahead of time what to think about (read
Philippians 4:8). Please take time to read that! If you do not
have an Amplified Bible....let me know, and I will e-mail you and let you know
what it says.
Obviously,
God is sending us a message today...."let those that have
ears to hear, hear what the Spirit is saying to the Church" (Revelation
2:7, 2:11, 2:17, 3:6, 3:13, and 3:2. He was talking about having
"spiritual ears"!
I
have been very "serious" today, but this is a very
"serious" message! It is time for us to be "doers of the
Word and not hearers only" (James 1:22).
Have
