Morning!
The
Lord wants us to "enjoy" our lives....He tells us this over and over
again in His Word. If you have spent time reading your bible, then you know
what I am saying is true. However, when He instructed us on how to enjoy
the life that He died to give us, He had much more in mind than for us to go
"hopping and skipping" through life thinking only about
"ourselves". That is not what He meant about
"enjoying" your life!
You
cannot enjoy your life, if all you have on your mind is "me,
myself and I". For one thing that can end up being very
"depressing"! Also, it is totally "selfish", and
that keeps you from obeying the LOVE COMMANDMENT (1Corinthians 13: 4 - 8).
If
we really want to "enjoy" the peaceful, joyful and abundant
life that Jesus wants us to have....then it is time to stop saying, "What
about me, what about me"! Let The Lord take care of you and your
problems....He promised to do that, and He is the only one that can
do that! I continually stand on His Word in Psalms 138: 8 that says He
will perfect and accomplish that which concerns me. You know what?
If He is going to take care of "that which concerns me"...then why
am I wasting time trying to figure out what to do? I could be spending
that time "enjoying" my life by reaching out to others and
sharing with them the precious, unconditional "love" of Jesus!
God makes everything so "simple" for us!
