Morning!
It
is time, once again, to acknowledge all of our new readers. It has been
a while since I did that and I don't want to overlook any one. You are
important to all of us here at T.O.D.A.Y. Ministries, and you are important to
The Lord! Thank you for your interest in our daily encouragements!
God has a wonderful plan and purpose for your life (Jeremiah 29:11), and it is
our desire to help you "find and fulfill" that purpose and
plan! If you already know what your purpose in life is...then we
are here to "cheer you on".
That is the "purpose" for these
encouragements....to "edify and equip" you for the work of the
ministry that God has for you (Ephesians 4:12). I encourage you to read
that entire chapter! The body of Christ needs you to do what God
has anointed you to do, and it takes all of us, "fitly joined
together" to supply what another member of the body needs (Ephesians
4:16).
The only way that we can
"effectively" do what The Lord has called us to do, is
to forget about ourselves (and our own personal problems), let God take care
of our situations... and focus on helping someone else! That
not only benefits others, but it also benefits us.....the sooner we all do our
"job", the sooner Jesus will come back for us! Then, we
are "out of here" and on our way to a "party" (Revelation
19:9). I don't know about you, but that is "incentive" enough
for me!!
I encourage you to read Webster's
definition of the word "incentive", you will be blessed if you
do!
