Morning!
I really sense very strongly in my spirit that The Lord wants me to encourage
all of you to take time today to pray about the situation that is going on in
the D.C. area....even if some
of you are, and have been, doing this already!
We need to continue to lift up the family members of all of the victims, to pray
for the protection of the children, to ask for wisdom for the law enforcement,
and also (this may seem strange to some of you) to pray for the perpetrator(s).
Jesus has commanded us to pray for the lost, regardless of what they are doing
or have done. I may lose some
readers because of what I just said, but I have to be obedient to the
Word of God. I am not condoning what this person is doing.
It is wrong, it is horrible, and it is not the will of God.
Prayer gives God access to change, not only situations, but also people and
their hearts. The Lord is calling those of us who have received His forgiveness,
His protection, and His
mercy to ask Him for the same for others. I
pray that you will think about this and do whatever The Lord leads you to do.
Tomorrow, we will continue our journey to finding out how to
"simplify" our lives, so that we can be blessed and be a blessing to
others!
