Morning!
The following are just a few of the scriptures that relate to what we talked
about yesterday. I am going to paraphrase from the Amplified Bible, but I
encourage you to read these yourself, and let the Holy Spirit minister to you.
John 10:10 tells us that Jesus came to give us an abundant life that we could
enjoy.
3rd John 2 tells us that The Lord wants us to prosper and be in health even as
our "soul" prospers.
Joshua 1:8 tells us that if we will meditate (think) on the Word of God and do
what it says to do, then we will be prosperous and have good success.
James 4:13--15 says that we really shouldn't be making plans and decisions about
tomorrow without first finding out what the will of God is for us in those
situations.
Proverbs 3:5-6 says that if we will just trust in The Lord with all of our heart
and "mind", don't rely on our own insight or understanding, and get
Him involved in everything that we are doing or "wanting", then He
will direct our paths.
Proverbs 16:3 tells us to "commit" everything that concerns us to The
Lord, and He will cause our "thoughts" to become agreeable to
"His" will, and our plans will succeed.
All of these promises from God have very "simple" conditions.
We do our part, and then God does His part.
I encourage you, today, to say what Jesus said, "Not my will, but Thy will
be done"!
