Morning!
The Lord wants us to enjoy our lives, and no one can enjoy a life that is
complicated and stressful. So, we
are learning how to "simplify". This really can be accomplished,
"if" we
are willing to make some changes in our lifestyle. In order to do that, there are changes that have to take
place on the inside of us.....in our soul.....which is made up of our
"mind,
will, and emotions",
We have already talked about the "mind" (our thoughts), and now we
will talk about the "will" (what we want, or think we want).
We MUST surrender our will to God, because what we think we want may not
be the perfect "will" of God for us.
Now, please hear me, I am not talking about praying things
like....."Lord, if it is your will for me to be healed, or if it is your
will for me to have enough money to pay my bills".........HE HAS ALREADY
ESTABLISHED HIS WILL IN THESE AREAS!! There are scriptures all through the
Bible that tells us that The Lord planned for us to live in health, prosperity
and success. That is
why it is so important for you to get into the Word of God and find out for
yourself what His will is for your life.
When I said, "surrender your will to God", I was talking about
"things" in your life that "you" think you want, like a
specific job, relationship, house, car, etc. If you will say, "Lord,
this is what I "think" I want, but if it is not your best for me, then
just me know, and I will wait on you to show me what I need to do.
Don't try to make something happen......don't make impulsive decisions......be
willing to wait upon The Lord to bring about His will for you in this situation.
Remember, "there is a way that seems right to man, but it may not be God's
way."
Tomorrow, I will give you some scriptures pertaining to what we have talked
about today, and I believe they will make a difference in the way you make
decisions for your life.
