Good Morning!

We are still talking about simplifying our lives, and that requires changes.  The place where these changes need to start is in our soul (which is made up of our mind, will,
and emotions).  I want to talk a little more about the mind, and I am referring to our "thoughts", then next week we will get into the other two areas....our will and emotions.

What we "think" about the most becomes our "focus point", and whatever you are focusing on will be what develops or enlarges in your life.  Think about using a camera...if you want to get a picture of a rose, but you focus in on the thorns, instead of the rose.........get the picture?  Excuse the pun, but I am trying to make a point here. Whenever you have a problem in your life, then you need to "focus on the "solution", not the "problem"!

Jesus, and His Word, is the solution to every problem you can possibly have.  When those "problems" come up in your mind, don't start to worry or be anxious, or try to figure everything out.  Get into the habit of saying, "No! I am not going there!"  Then, do what The Word of God tells you to do, and cast the care of that thing over on The Lord and trust Him to cause the solution and answer to "develop".  Don't try to do what only God can do. However, this is something that you "can" do: The following is a little song that I have shared and it has made such a difference in many people's lives and I pray that it will encourage you to "keep it simple"!

I will think about your goodness, Lord
I will think about your mercy
I will think about your faithfulness
I will think about your LOVE

I encourage you to write that down on a post-it and put it on your mirror, fridge, dashboard, desk, alarm clock, "whatever" it takes to remind you that "Simple is Good"!

Have a Blessed Weekend!!           In His Love,       Luanne
We welcome your comments and prayer requests.
