Good Morning!

So many people have, what I call, a "busy" mind.  You may not be one of those people, but I was, and I still have to be alert to this tendency.  If we don't take control over our mind
and our thoughts, then they will take control of us!

When I say that I had a "busy" mind, I am talking about the fact that I was always trying to analyze everything, always trying to figure everything out, always having conversations
with other people in my "mind".....the future conversations went like this>>>Well, they are going to say that, and then I am going to say this, and when they say  thus and so, then
I will say thus and so.  Also, there were all of the past conversations that played over and over in my mind, like a tape>>>>When they said that, I should have said this and why didn't I tell them this, and why didn't I tell them that... If anyone reading this can relate to what I am talking about, then please hear me......this is not the way that God wants us to spend our time!  Stop and "think" about this...going back over past conversations will not change anything, and thinking about future conversations is totally futile, because they may never come to pass.  So the way to keep it simple, is to just to say, "Lord, You are in charge of my past and my future and I trust you to take care of both of them."

I am not done with the area of the "mind", so we will talk  about this tomorrow.
