Good Morning!

 

My job is to minister encouragement and hope to all people, and to point them to The Lord, and to help bring unity to the body of Christ.  I have no intention of presenting my "personal" opinions about any individual person or political party in these encouragements.

 

Yes, I am aware of the fact that our Nation is definitely "divided"!  On one side of the "dividing line", there are people who see this as a time to "rejoice and celebrate".  On the other side of that line, there are people who see this as a time to "mourn and pray" (depending on who they voted for).  Well,  I believe that for those of us who are members of the body of Christ and of the family of God should be doing "both" of those things!   We should "rejoice and celebrate" the fact that the election results did not affect the "faithfulness" of God toward His people!  It has no effect on His Covenant Word concerning His promises to us!  He is still the only dependable and reliable source of our "provision and security"!   He still wants us to look to Him, not to any one else, for whatever we NEED!  "Rejoice, and again I say, Rejoice"!  God is still on the throne....Jesus is still the same, yesterday, today and FOREVER!!!  Also, we need to "mourn and pray" . . . Mourn for the "lost" ones, and weep in intercession for those that do not know Jesus as their "Good Shepherd", and do not know that He is the only One that they can trust for their "provision, protection and direction"!  Then "pray" for ALL of the ones who are in positions of "authority", whether you voted for them or not!  This is a time for us to make sure that we "put on the Armor of God" daily!  If you will read Ephesians 6: 11 - 18 once again (even right now today!), you will understand why The Holy Spirit has been reminding us of this "Armor" for quite some time now!

 

remember this ~~~~~~ it still is  "IN GOD WE TRUST" . . . not in "man"!  "Change" may be coming, but GOD NEVER CHANGES!!!!!
