Good Morning!

Until The Lord gives me a different "assignment", I will continue sharing out of the third chapter of Proverbs.  We are living in a day and time when God is pouring out revelation knowledge on His people, so that we can "grow up" and become mature sons and daughters. He does not want us to stay "whiny-binys" (that is what I used to call my grandchildren when they did not want to obey the instructions).  They would whine and cry when I did not do what they wanted me to do when they wanted me to do it!  Are we getting the "picture" of a lot of Christians who do the same thing, when God does not do what they want Him to do when they want Him to do it?  That is because, like little children, they do not understand that the "instructions" are for their own good!

Well, I don't know who that was for....I just "show up for work" and type what The Lord tells me to type!      Anyway, what I just "typed" certainly relates to the study we are doing in Proverbs.....God gives us "instructions" and then tells us what the "results" will be if we choose to obey those instructions!  So, let's look at verses 5 and 6 in Proverbs chapter three~~~~"Trust in the Lord with all of your heart,  lean not unto your own understanding. In all of your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths". The "instructions" are listed in verse 5 and the first part of verse 6....the "result" is in the last part of verse 6.

There are three things that we can choose to do (I have underlined them), and I want to take time to talk about each one of them individually...."trust", "lean" and "acknowledge".  I cannot do this in one encouragement but I will take them (one at a time), starting Monday.  Remember....."growth" takes time.  We don't get from being "whiny-binys" to mature, obedient sons and daughters of God overnight!

Have a Blessed Weekend!       (Keep it Simple!)               In His Love, Luanne
