T.O.D.A.Y.'S ENCOURAGEMENT for May 15, 2006
T.O.D.A.Y.
Ministries

Good
Morning!
I
want to welcome all of you that will be receiving these encouragements
directly from me. I know that you have been getting "forwards"
from others, and I want to encourage all of you to be sure and
"thank" those precious ones that were sending you the
"forwards"! I have talked about this earlier . . . it really
doesn't matter who does the "sowing" as long as you are
"reaping" a harvest from the seeds! Anyway,
WELCOME ABOARD!
I
have been laying a foundation concerning "JOY" . . . what is is,
where it comes from, and why we need it! If you have missed any of
this message, you can click on the "link" at the bottom of this
encouragement and it will take you to our website. Then go to the
Archive page and read the ones for this month.
Presently,
I am talking about the "source" of Joy (where it comes from).
It comes from The Lord, because it is His Joy and it is a
"gift" from Him to us! Psalm 16:11 says that "in His presence
is fullness of Joy"! So, we are looking at avenues into His
presence. I gave a list earlier . . . . I think I will do that again
today just to remind us.
#1.
Talk to Him
#2.
Thank Him
#3.
Praise Him
#4.
Trust Him
I
have shared some about the "simplicity" of communicating with Him
(May 10), but I will add a little more about that ~~~~~~ You need to be
so aware of His presence in your daily life that you will just keep an
on-going conversation with Him! I do this, and I am telling you the
truth! I "talk" to Him about everything and anything.
You may be saying, "Why?" Well, for many reasons . . . first
of all because He is my "best friend", and that is what we do with
our "best friends". Right? Also because I have found out
that He cares about what concerns me (Psalm 138:8). Also because He
wants to be involved in everything that I am doing (Proverbs 3:6). Also
because He wants to help me with whatever I am doing (Psalm 46:1). Most
of all, because by "talking" to Him . . . it keeps me aware of His presence,
and that is the "source" of my JOY! Trust me, precious
ones, The Lord loves it when we talk to Him! He loves it when we
"acknowledge" His presence! You may think that this is
"silly", but I am going to share it with you anyway . . . I am so
aware of His "presence" in my life, that when I "burp" . .
. I say "Excuse me, Lord". Before you think that I have gone
off the deep end, think about this . . . if I was in your presence
when you "burped", I am sure that you would say, "Excuse
me". Right? Wow! I love the way The
Holy Spirit makes a "point"! Hope you got it!
More
to come, so stay tuned in to the "Good News" station KJIA ~~~~~~
Have
a Blessed Day!! (In His presence is fullness of
JOY!) In His Love, Luanne
