Morning!
Galatians
5:6 tells us that "faith works by love". The Amplified
Bible gives us some "insight and understanding" concerning
this principle. It says that our faith must be "activated and
energized and expressed and working
through LOVE". This is so simple!
We
waste so much time and effort "trying" to make our faith work, by
"trying" to make our faith work! Read that again.....I put it
exactly the way The Lord told me to put it (no "typos" there)!
If we are keeping the one commandment that Jesus gave to us, which is found in
John 13:34, then our faith will work without us "trying to make it
work"! In fact...1John 3:22 confirms that! I encourage
you to read it for yourself.
So,
the bottom line is this~~~~If you want your faith to "work" (and I
don't know of anyone that would not want their faith to work), then
quit "trying" to make it work and start WALKING IN LOVE!
If
you are trying to obey the "ten commandments" that
were given "under the law" of the old covenant....try this: Obey
the "one commandment" that Jesus gave to us under the
"new covenant", and you will be fulfilling "all"
that God has commanded!
I
have "scriptures" to back up what I am saying...please take time to

and Matthew 22: 37 - 40
Tomorrow,
I am going to be talking about how we can KNOW whether or not
we are really "walking in love" (the kind of "love" that
Jesus commanded us to walk in)! It is the kind of "love" that
makes your faith WORK!
