Morning!
Yesterday,
The Lord encouraged us to read Hebrews 13: 1 - 25....did you do your
"homework"? I did, and was so blessed! Even though
I had read it before (and I know that most of you have also), I received even more
revelation by reading it again. I pray that you did too! The
Word of God never becomes old or stale....it is "new and fresh" every
time we read it!
Today,
I want us to think about what is promised to us in verses 20 & 21. In
these two scriptures, you have a "covenant" promise
that..."The God of peace---who is the Author and the Giver of
peace---will strengthen you, complete and perfect
you,
make
you what you ought to be,
and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will.
While He Himself 'works' in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing
in His sight". (I am taking this from the Amplified Bible).
You can find this very same "covenant promise" in Philippians 2:13

I have got to share something with
you....I just received an email that tells about a pastor of an underground
church in Uzbekistan (which borders on Afghanistan), and he is encouraging
everyone to read Hebrews 13:3..this is in the same chapter that I am sharing
with you. Is this a "timely" message or what? "Hear
what the Spirit is saying to the Church today"! (Revelations 2:7
and 2:17).
