Good
Morning!
I
am going to continue talking about the storms of life, because The Lord wants
us to know how we can go "through" them and have
the victory over them! Did you do your "homework" and read the
fourth chapter of Mark?
Some
of you may be saying...."Luanne, I don't want to hear about the storms.
I don't want any storms in my life, and I am praying and confessing that God
will keep the storms from coming to me".
I
understand how you feel, but praying that way is not "scriptural".
The Bible does not tell us that we can "stop" the storms from
coming, but it does tell us how we can have "peace" in
the midst of them! I can't tell you that you will never have any storms
in your life, because Jesus (Himself) said that you would....let's read
what He said in John 16:33 (Amplified Bible)~~~~~
"I have told you these things so that in Me you may have perfect peace
and confidence. In the world you will have tribulation and trials
and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer---take courage, be confident and undaunted--
for I have overcome the world. I have deprived it of power to harm you,
and I have conquered it for
you."
Notice
that He said you could have "perfect peace"....In Isaiah 26:3
we find that we can have "perfect peace" if our minds are
stayed on Him! There you have it! Just like we talked about
earlier....don't keep thinking about the storm! Keep your mind
and your focus on "Jesus"! If you will do that, then not
only will you go through the storm unharmed...but you will have
"peace" and you will get to the "other side"!
See, we can keep our lives
"simple", even in the "storms"!
Tomorrow,
I want to talk about what happened when they got to the other side. I
encourage you to read Mark 5: 1 - 20.
Have
a Blessed Day!!
(Keep it Simple!) In
His Love, Luanne
