Good
Morning!
In Monday's encouragement (May 17), I gave
some reference scriptures concerning a "storm" that the disciples
"encountered". What I want to talk about, today, is from the
fourth chapter of Mark.
In verse 35, Jesus said
to His disciples.."Let us go over to the other side". (Keep in
mind, that whatever The Lord tells us to do, He will "equip" us to
do it)! Go back up and read verses 3 - 20....Jesus had just given
them the parable of the "sower". He not only gave them
the parable, but He took time to "expound" on it and
"explain" to them what it meant. He also told them that if
they could not understand "this" parable, then they would not
be able to discern and understand any of the other parables (verse 13). Hello!
Don't you think maybe we need to get a "revelation" of this
teaching? I know that most of you have read these verses many times, but
until we learn how to keep the enemy from stealing the "word" out of
hearts..and until we learn how to keep "the cares and anxieties of
this world" from allowing His WORD to produce "faith" in
the midst of our storms....then we need to continue to "glean" from
this powerful principle. I encourage you to read these scriptures
again because I have so much more to share from them.
God makes His instructions to us so
"simple".....it is time for us to stop trying to
"complicate" everything and just receive the
"simplicity" of God's Word, and then become "doers" of His
Word and not "hearers" only (James 5:22).
More about Mark 4 tomorrow~~~~~
Have
a Blessed Day!! (Keep it Simple!)
In His Love, Luanne
