Morning!
Decisions....decisions!
That is the word that I am getting in my spirit right now. I know that
someone, (and maybe more than one), has a situation in your life that requires
you to make a "decision"! I am going to give you some
scriptures that will help you with this.....this is an area that I can
personally relate to. I don't usually talk about my past, but I
believe this "testimony" will help someone~~~~~
Before
I had a knowledge of God's Word, I was "afraid" to make a decision
about anything, for fear that I would make the
"wrong" decision. This fear was in me because of so many people making
me feel like I did not have enough sense to make my own decisions. It
was so bad, that when I got a new "washing machine", I was afraid to
push the buttons on it....."what if I push the wrong one"! (I would
be thinking in my mind). Some of you may not be able to "relate" to
that, but my point is this....if you have a hard time making decisions, it
could be because you are in "fear" of making the wrong one. The
other side of that "coin" is...many people make rash
decisions, by "leaning unto their own understanding"! (Proverbs 3:5)
Here
are the scriptures that have helped me with "both" sides of the
coin.~~~~
1. Ask God for
"wisdom" (James 1:5 Amp.) God will give wisdom to anyone that will
ask Him for it.
2. Commit your situation to God!
(Proverbs 16:3 Amp.) If you will get The Lord involved in your situation, He
will cause your "thoughts" to be in agreement with His will, and
then your "decision" will be successful!
Any time we come to a place of
"decision", we need God's wisdom involved, so don't let
"fear", "pressure", or "other people" influence
your decisions....Trust in the wisdom of God...lean upon Him (He wants
you to!). He makes everything so very "simple" for us!
