T.O.D.A.Y.'S
ENCOURAGEMENT for May 14, 2003 T.O.D.A.Y.
Ministries I know that this is for someone who will be reading this today, even though it is not a continuation of the scriptures we have been talking about in Mark, chapter four.... it still "relates" to the importance of "protecting" the word that is sown in our hearts (and this message is still from Mark chapter four). In Mark 4:39, Jesus spoke these words, "Peace, be still". He was not telling peace to be still...He was speaking to two different situations here. He was talking to the winds AND the waves! You can do the same thing when the storms of your life seem to surround you...the "wind" is anything that tries to "toss you to and fro" (doubt and wavering) Read James 1:6 and the "waves" are the things that try to overwhelm you and cause you to "sink" and go under. So, I encourage you, today, to speak "peace" to those winds, and tell those waves to "be still"...you can do this, because Jesus said you could (John 14:12) Let the "peace of God rule in your heart", and let the "Word dwell in you richly in all wisdom" (read Colossians 3:15&16) Have a Blessed Day!!
