Good Morning!

Today, I want to encourage you with these words from The Word of God...1 Thessalonians 5:18...
            Thank God in everything---no matter what the circumstances
            may be, be thankful and give thanks; for this is the will of
            God for you who are in Christ Jesus.

So many Christians are frustrated because they really want to do the will of God, but they don't always know what His will is.  Well, here is one place where He is very specific about what He wants us to do.

However, some people can read this and not understand what it is saying.  Please notice that it says to thank God "in" every situation.... not "for" everything that happens in your life. God does not expect us to thank Him  "for” things that  "steal, kill, or destroy".  Those things come from the devil (John 10:10).  None of those things are the will of God for you!

He is telling us that even when the circumstances that we find ourselves "in" are not good, we can still find something to be thankful for and express our thanksgiving to God.

So I encourage you, today, to maintain an "attitude of gratitude" no matter what is going on around you.  The Lord will help you do this, because it is  "His will for you"!
