Good Morning!

There is so much bad news going on in the " world", but there is so much Good News going on in the "Word"!  Bad news is depressing, good news is encouraging.  It seems real simple to me what we should be focusing on.  It may not be a sin to watch the "news" and find out what is going on if that is what you want to do...but I believe that we should give God and His Word at least "equal time".  After all, The Holy Spirit can show us what to pray about.... and how to pray about it.  (Rom. 8:26-28)

Anyway, before some of you get mad at me, I better get on with the Good News that I have to share with you this morning!

In Third John 2, The Holy Spirit inspired the Apostle John to let us know what God desires for you (and me)...."that you prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers".

This scripture is not complicated...even though some people have tried to make it seem that way.  It is really very simple!

The Lord wants us to "prosper" in our finances, in our bodies, and in our souls.  Our soul is made up of our mind...will...and emotions.  Soul prosperity comes by learning and applying the Wisdom of God in these areas.

So, here is the "simplicity " of this profound scripture:

God wants His children to be...HEALTHY, WEALTHY AND WISE!!  (Isn't that what every good parent desires for their children?)

I encourage you to speak that simple phrase over you and your children every day.  Just say, "Lord, I thank You that You desire for me and my children to be.... HEALTHY, WEALTHY AND WISE!"

Isn't it fun to let The Holy Spirit teach us how to keep our daily communication with the Lord "simple"?
