Good Morning!

Today, I want to encourage you to "get real"!  No, you didn't read that wrong.... I really meant to say that.  But let me explain what I am talking about.

Too many times we have a tendency to be overly" spiritual" and "religious" when we talk to God, (with our "thee" and "thou").  And even if some of you have gotten past using those words, you are still trying to make sure that you use the right scriptures and words that would please Him.

Think about it...How would you talk to your "earthly" Father?  God is our Heavenly Father.  How would you talk to your friend?  Jesus is our friend.  (Webster's definition of friend...a person whom one knows well and is fond of; intimate associate; close
acquaintance).

I am not telling you to lay aside your reverential respect of God, but I am saying that God is "real".  He wants to be "real" to you, and He wants you to be "real "with Him!

All of you know, by now, that I believe in the fact that the Lord wants us to simplify our lives.  The major part of our lives is our "prayer life".  So, keep it simple!  Just "get real" when you are talking to The One who knows who you "really" are.

Say this... "Jesus set me free, to be "me"!
