Good Morning!
"A Word in due season"
The Lord talks about "sowing and
reaping" in numerous scriptures . . . I gave you
three of those in my Encouragement on March 18 .
. . but I will list them again just in case you
have forgotten what they were ~~~~~~ Mark
4:8 Galatians 6:7 2 Corinthians 9:6-8
I want to spend some "quality time" on
this second point of God's 3-point plan for
"increase and prosperity", and I am not going to
be able to get it all in one Encouragement.
However, it will be worth our time to "take
time" to get a revelation about "sowing"! God
knew how important this "principle" was when He
spoke about it in the first Book of the Bible
(Genesis 8:22), and then He continued to talk
about it all through His written Word! Hummm!
Do you think that maybe, just maybe, "we" might
need to make this a "priority" in our lives? I
truly believe that by the time HE walks us
through His Word, concerning SOWING, we will
definitely make it a priority!
So, let's start with the 4th chapter of
Mark ~~~~ this is where Jesus is teaching His
disciples about how the "sowing" principle
works. If it was not "important", Jesus would
not have been teaching about it . . . can we
see that? He first gives them a "parable"
(verses 3-8) and He begins it with telling them
to "Hearken . . . behold (give attention to)".
Think about that! Then the "revelation" that He
wants them to have is found in verses 14-20,
when He explains the parable to them! He tells
them WHAT to "sow" ( the Word of God ) and WHERE
to "sow" it . . . (in your heart!). I
encourage you to read all of this parable,
and Jesus' explanation of it. Why? Because
Jesus said in verse 9 . . . "He who has ears to
hear, let him hear and comprehend"! He also
said in verse 13, "If you cannot understand this
parable, how can you understand any of the
others?".
You may be thinking . . . Luanne, what
has this got to do with me having "prosperity"
in my life? The answer is . . . EVERYTHING! I
am not done with the second point of God's
3-point plan, and I am not even done with the
above scriptures, so if you really want to be
