91 . . . continues~~~~
Verses
3 thru 13 tell us what we have in the way of God's Covenant
"protection" if we choose to do the first two verses.
I will talk about them verse by verse . . . I really encourage you to read
each verse from whatever version of God's Word that you have, because I am
going to "paraphrase" each verse. That only means that I am
going to keep the message "simple" so that we can get hold of the
TRUTH that is in it. This is the way that The Holy Spirit has taught me
to read the Word of God, and to keep it "personal"! If you
don't understand that God's Word is talking to you, then you will not
be able to "apply" it to your own personal life. So, remember
. . . YOU read the verse in your Bible, as I share with you
what it means to ME. This is how I learned to stay
"covenant-minded", and how to talk "covenant-talk"!
Verse 3 tells me that God
will deliver me from the snare of the fowler and from deadly pestilence.
So, I say this ~~~~ The Lord will deliver me from any and every
"trap" that the enemy has set up for me, and He will deliver me
from any deadly pestilence! Now, when I say this . . . I think about
what the word "fowler" means and what the word
"pestilence" means. Webster defines a "fowler" as
someone who sets up a "snare or a trap" . . . well, isn't that
what the devil does? Of course, I guess he could be called the
"fouler" . . . since he is always trying to "foul up" our
lives!
 I just thought I would throw
that in for free! Now, back to being "serious" ~~~ Webster
defines "pestilence" as any kind of "virus" . . .
"contagious or infectious disease" . . . a "plague". The
Lord talks about this again in verse 10, so obviously He wants us to get a
revelation of the Covenant "protection" that He has made
available to us!
I will let you
"chew" on that verse, and I will be back on Thursday with more Good
News! I sure hope that you are taking notes, or printing these
Encouragements out . . . because this is NOT just a message from Luanne,
it is God's Covenant promise to you! Can I get an AMEN?
